1. About us

This website is operated by Gutter Profiles Co (a trading name of Express Matting Services Ltd), a company registered in England and Wales, with its business address at Unit 1B, Summit Works, Manchester Road, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 5HG, United Kingdom (VAT number GB987256073). These Terms of Service apply to your use of this website and to any order you place with us. Please read them, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, before placing an order. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Ordering

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We will email you to confirm we have received your order; the contract between us is formed when we dispatch your goods or confirm acceptance by email. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot deliver to your address. If we cannot accept your order, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.

3. Products

We make every effort to describe and show our products accurately, including dimensions, materials and specifications. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. If a product you receive does not match its description, you are entitled to return it under our Refund Policy and your statutory rights.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT at the current UK rate. Delivery to UK mainland addresses costs a flat £9.99 (including VAT) per order. The total price, including any applicable charges, is shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order through our secure checkout. If we discover an obvious error in the price of a product you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch, and you may choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Delivery

We deliver to UK mainland addresses only. Orders are usually dispatched within 1 to 2 working days and delivered within 3 to 6 working days in total. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery, and ownership passes to you once we have received full payment.

6. Cancellations, returns and refunds

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items will be replaced or refunded in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 7. Use of our website

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, introduce malicious code, or copy, scrape or reproduce its content without our written permission. All content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to us or our licensors.

8. Reviews and feedback

If you submit a review or feedback, it must be honest and lawful. You give us permission to publish and use it in connection with our business. We may remove content that is unlawful, offensive or misleading.

9. Our liability

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, or for business losses where you buy as a business customer. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible, and you may cancel your order for a full refund of anything you have paid for goods not received.

11. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify. All sales and purchases you make through this website are made directly with Gutter Profiles Co, and Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of those sales. Shopify processes some personal information to provide the store; see our Privacy Policy and Shopify's Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order will apply to that order.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or in Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
