Flush joint or traditional
Flush joint pipe butts together over an internal jointer, so it reads as one clean line, and is held to the wall by separate clips. Traditional pipe carries a socket on each length, eared to screw straight to the wall or non-eared to take a clip.
The outlet on your gutter sets the pipe size, so pick the size first, then the joint style.
