This Cookie Policy explains how Gutter Profiles Co (a trading name of Express Matting Services Ltd) uses cookies and similar technologies on gutterprofilesco.co.uk. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the website work, remember your choices, keep your basket and checkout functioning, and help us understand how the site is used. Similar technologies such as pixels and local storage work in the same way, and we refer to them all as "cookies" here.
The cookies we use
| Type | What it is for | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Let the website and secure checkout work, keep your basket, and keep the site secure. The store cannot function without these. | No — always on |
| Functional | Remember choices such as your finish selection or cookie preferences, so the site works the way you expect. | Yes, where required |
| Analytics / performance | Help us understand which pages are visited and how the site is used, so we can improve it. | Yes |
| Marketing | Measure and improve our advertising, and show you more relevant offers. | Yes |
Cookies set by Shopify
Our store is hosted on Shopify, which sets cookies needed to run the store, process payments and keep the checkout secure. To learn more, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Managing your cookies
When you first visit our website, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the banner or your cookie settings. Strictly necessary cookies cannot be turned off, as the site would not work without them.
You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block or remove cookies, but some parts of the website, including the basket and checkout, may not work properly if you do.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
